Ambassador Program

Ambassadors are dedicated members who act as our goodwill arm. Each Ambassador is assigned up to three (3) new CMBCC members (“buddies”) to educate and assist for their first ninety (90) days.

Ambassadors also volunteer at Charlotte Mecklenburg BLACK CHAMBER of Commerce programs & events and offer feedback on ways we can improve CMBCC member services and benefits. In return, Ambassadors benefit from networking and building new relationships with their buddies and with fellow Ambassadors.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is a working board, which provides strategic leadership and fiduciary oversight for the Charlotte Mecklenburg BLACK CHAMBER of Commerce. Board Members care deeply about upholding our mission and values, and work to ensure progress toward specific goals.

CMBCC accepts applications for Board Membership on a rolling basis. A review committee evaluates those applications in October of each year -- with the goal of welcoming qualified community leaders, passionate advocates and hard workers to the board by January 1.
