Alfred L. Minter is a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management with core focus on small and mid-size business financial planning such as retirement plans, cash and business investment management, commercial credit, commercial real estate financing and payroll services.

Former Business Development Manager, Financial Services, for BearingPoint, Inc., (formerly KPMG Consulting) which is a management and technology-consulting firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. Consulting services portfolio consisted of human resources, lending, finance transformation, retail and commercial credit, accounting compliance and technology strategy development.

Prior to working for BearingPoint, spent twenty-five years in sales and corporate account management for financial services with Hewlett Packard Company.

Holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Finance from UNC Charlotte and is a Certified Financial Planner™ licensee; Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™, Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ and a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor™ designee.

Has been married for 34 years with three children - two are in college at UNCG and is almost an “empty nester”. Enjoys bowling, rolling skating and is a World War II historian.
